Hayden is a former intelligence analyst for state police and federal government operations, where he delivered strategic and tactical analysis and briefed senior decision-makers. He has also worked as a real estate sales agent in Western Australia (Master Salesperson and Rising Star of the Year finalist), in operations and project management for transport and logistics companies, and managing international project shipping from China, Korea and Thailand to Australia for mining clients.
